Terrence Siqueira
Certified Music Teacher
Terry Siqueira, President and CEO of SQ Enterprises Inc. started his musical journey in 1975. He has been teaching privately and professionally for over 40 years. Terrence Siqueira holds a BMus Elementary1985) and BEd Secondary (1987) from the University of Calgary. He has been a certified Professional Alberta Teacher with 35 years of service in the Province.
Since June 30, 2022, Terry has retired from CTR Catholic schools, having been employed with them for the last 32 years. He also taught for the Foothills School Division from 1987-90.Terry has received numerous awards including winner of the Alberta Music Festival Provincial Plaque in Classical Guitar, Royal Conservatory Teacher Award, Excellence in Teaching Awards for CTR and Province, and an Appreciation Award for Service to a Community for Canada’s 150th Anniversary of Confederation. Terry has been featured in the Press numerous times and also was a finalist as one of the Top 10 Recognizable faces recognized in the Foothills of Alberta! Mr. Siqueira has also been a Band Teacher for a few decades, specializing in Beginner Band. He also teaches songwriting, theory and music history.
His passion is using music in literacy settings to promote lifelong learning. He has been a Presenter in the Foothills Young Author’s Conference for over 20 years! Most recently Mr. Siqueira has written a children’s book called, “How Reid Erman Became Reader Man” (May, 2022), a children’s book about reading strategies for children who may need motivation and engagement in the reading process. This book is of high value to reluctant readers also. The book also gives parents an insight into the key strategies that they can use with their child to support teachers in the classroom. The book is available online through Friesen Press and from this site, but in many online stores, by simply googling the title. Terry is now working on future children’s books to be coming soon!
Andrea Siqueira

Andrea Siqueira Owner, Educator, Instructor and Office Manager for SQ Enterprises Inc. is from Jamshedpur India, born and raised in India for the first 21 years of her life came to Canada in 1993 after being married to Terrence Siqueira in 1992 who is also originally from Mumbai.
Andrea was a stay-at-home mother of three children Jasmine, Ashton and Sebastian. After the children were independent enough to care for themselves Andrea discovered Kindermusik International and was certified to be their Educator in 2009.
Andrea has her level 1 Early Childhood Education certification and is passionate about children’s well-being and making an impact through her Kindermusik Program.
In 2020, Andrea added Mrs. Sasha Meyers from Okotoks to her Kindermsuik team. Sasha, a mother of three young children got her Kindermusik Educator certificate in 2019 under the guidance of Andrea Siqueira.

Andrea is an accomplished singer and volunteers her time with several musical events since the pandemic Andrea has been offering her talents to St. James Church Okotoks as a cantor for weekday Mass as well as the ongoing Sunday Mass Music ministry since 1994-95.
Andrea has always enjoyed long-distance running since her schooling years in India and just at the cusp of her 4th decade of life rediscovered her passion for fitness in Running and Walking after participating in numerous races between 5km to 50km in distance races in Okotoks, Calgary, Vancouver, New York and Mumbai Andrea decided to start her own little company under SQ Enterprises Inc. in ChiRunning and ChiWalking an Internationally recognized “learn to run/walk” program from the US. She was certified in 2018 to teach ChiRunning and ChiWalking through the guidance of her coach and mentor Angela James from Vancouver and the owner of ChiRunning and ChiWalking Danny Dreyer from North Carolina, US.
At the end of 2018, Andrea discovered the practice of Tai Chi after being inspired by ChiRun and Walk program mentioned earlier. Andrea started taking classes in Tai Chi from the Town of Okotoks taught by Calgarian Jane Sponiar who in January 2019 invited Andrea to certify and teach “Simplified Tai Ch” to people with imbalance due to injuries or to the older age group of people in nursing homes.
Andrea was certified Spring of 2019 to teach Simplified Tai Chi and within 6 months Andrea also got certified to teach Leve 1 and 2 Sequence for the general public and has classes for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced learners.
Andrea is also a Meditator and Group Leader with the World Community of Christian Meditation ( WCCM) and hosts in-person and online meditation sessions throughout the school year, September to June to St. James Parish in Okotoks as well as online with University students partnering with André Choquet an Actuary from Toronto.
Andrea is creative and fun to work with, giving the best of herself in all areas of her passions in life.

Jasmine Gracias, daughter of Andrea and Terrence Siqueira, is presently a school teacher in Ontario. She has her BA English Degree with a minor in management and a BEd Degree. She continues to teach private music lessons (piano and voice online lessons) and is growing her greeting card business! Jasmine’s passion for creating music-themed greeting cards, developed from her love of teaching music and celebrating her students.
